1. Refund Eligibility

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee:

  • All hosting services provided by Hostnin are covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee.
  • The 30-day period begins from the date your service was first activated.
  • Refunds processed must comply with our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

Exclusions:

  • Domain Name Services: Non-refundable once registered or renewed.
  • Add-on Services: SSL certificates, privacy protection, and third-party software may not be refundable once activated.
  • Web Builder & SEO Services: Non-refundable due to upfront costs and third-party licenses.
  • Custom Services: Non-refundable unless specified.
  • Service Issues: Refunds may be provided as Hostnin credit if service issues occur.
  • Customer Behavior: Aggressive or unlawful behavior may result in refund denial and account ban.
  • No Refund for VPS, Dedicated, or Reseller Hosting Services.
2. Refund Process and Timelines

bKash Payments:

  • Refunds processed within 24 hours.
  • Refund credited to the original bKash account.
  • Contact support if refund is not received within 24 hours.

Bank Transfers & Other Payments:

  • Processed within 3–7 business days depending on the bank.
  • Hostnin is not responsible for delays caused by banks or external factors.

Credit/Debit Card Payments:

Typically take up to 7 working days depending on payment gateway and issuing bank.

SSLCommerz and Other Payment Partners:

Refunds typically take 3–7 working days. Exact time depends on the payment partner's procedures.

3. Requesting a Refund
  • Submit a refund request through Hostnin support channels or dashboard.
  • Include your order number, reason, and transaction details.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method or as Hostnin account credit.
4. Special Cases and Considerations
  • Service Upgrades/Downgrades: Refund calculated based on original plan minus usage fees.
  • Promotional Offers: Refund adjusted based on promotion terms.
  • Partial Refunds: May be granted depending on service usage or circumstances.
  • Chargebacks: Initiating chargebacks may result in refund denial and account termination.
5. Service Availability
  • Hostnin targets 99.9% monthly uptime for shared hosting services. This uptime percentage does not include scheduled maintenance, emergency maintenance, force majeure events, network failures outside Hostnin’s control, or customer-caused outages.
  • No financial compensation is provided beyond the limits described in the Refund & Credit Policy.
6. Force Majeure
  • Hostnin shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, power outages, network failures, DDoS attacks, government actions, or third-party provider failures.
7. Backups & Data Responsibility
  • Hostnin performs regular backups on a best-effort basis but does not guarantee the availability, integrity, or completeness of backups.
  • Customers are solely responsible for maintaining their own copies of data. Hostnin shall not be liable for any data loss, corruption, or restoration delays.
8. Limitation of Liability
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hostnin’s total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Services shall not exceed the total fees paid by the customer for the affected service during the 3 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
  • Hostnin shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages including but not limited to lost profits, lost sales, lost advertising spend, or development costs.
9. Upgrades & Add-Ons
  • Payments for plan upgrades, add-ons, or resource increases are non-refundable once activated or provisioned, regardless of subsequent downgrades, cancellations, or service interruptions.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising shall be submitted exclusively to the courts located in Chattogram, Bangladesh.
11. Refund Request Procedure
  • Refund requests must be submitted via ticket to Hostnin within 30 calendar days of the initial service activation. Refunds requested outside this window will not be processed.
  • Refunds are processed only once per customer account and exclude domains, dedicated IPs, third-party software, and any fees incurred by payment processors.
